Teaching Assistants - Welsh Medium

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for 6 Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming schools throughout Cardiff from September 2026.

We have a mixture of opportunities available, including:

• 4 Full-Time Teaching Assistant positions

• 2 Part-Time Teaching Assistant positions

• Most roles running for the full academic year

• Opportunities within Primary school settings

• Positions supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small groups, and across whole-class environments

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people through the Welsh language.

• Be fluent in Welsh and confident communicating through the medium of Welsh
• Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
• Be patient, supportive, and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential
• Be able to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parentsi>
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
