Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all production activities, ensuring delivery meets safety, quality, cost, and schedule expectations across maintenance and refurbishment operations
  • Oversee day‑to‑day production and short‑term planning, adapting workflows to meet changing customer and technical requirements
  • Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and performance standards aligned with wider business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and performance
  • Manage budgets, optimise resources, and ensure cost control while delivering value for the business
  • Set, monitor, and report on KPIs to maintain strong governance, performance tracking, and delivery assurance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to build capability and promote a high‑performance, continuous improvement culture
Requirements
  • Experience working in a production or operations management role
  • Experience working in the rolling stock or traction sector
  • Leadership qualifications and management experience
  • NEBOSH General certification
