Overview
Pay starts at £13.28 per hour and increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply based on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week to new colleagues, but you can also work fewer hours, down to a minimum of 12, if that better suits you.
Availability is required in the specified windows. Shift times will be scheduled within these windows and you will receive up to three weeks’ notice of your exact shifts.
Responsibilities- Serve customers with passion and pride, providing excellent natural service.
- Demonstrate product and service knowledge within the store.
- Work across the store, including service, picking, and replenishment areas as needed.
- Apply training to work safely and effectively, delivering customer-centric routines.
- Make decisions that benefit customers and meet their needs in a timely manner.
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understand store performance, contribute to service and sales, and help reduce waste, shrink, and drive profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure customers receive them in the best condition.
- Represent Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
