Licensed Practical Nurse - Carthage Pain Care

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed providers or Registered Professional Nurses, maintains professional accountability, coordinates care with other departments, and protects patient rights and confidentiality.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED.
• Licensure:
  Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet all State Board requirements.
• Experience:
  
  New or experienced LPN acceptable.

• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• LPN‑IV Certification within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri.
• Additional certifications may be required: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or other unit‑specific certifications.

• Must push, pull, lift, and turn patients with assistance and push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
• Regular standing and walking during shifts.
• Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
