About the jobThe Senior Solutions Consultant will be responsible for conducting online seminars to support sales acquisition strategies for our Education Mid-Market Sales team. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and present our products, set proper expectations of application capabilities, and represent a positive interaction with our prospects, clients and internal departments. What you’ll be doing
  • Analyze prospect requirements and delivers a targeted or full solution product demonstration based on needs analysis.
  • Ability to provide multiple demonstrations daily.
  • Responsible for group, private, and marketed online seminars. Speaks to large and small audiences in person and/or online.
  • Works closely with the Education Mid-Market Sales team daily as a key product advisor and advocate.
  • Builds and designs presentations for speaking engagements and online seminars.
  • Diligently researches professional and technical development opportunities.
  • Works collaboratively and strategically with the Dude Solutions’ Marketing team in their marketing efforts.
  • Attend conferences for booth presentations or speaking engagements strongly supporting full DSI offering, mission, and vision.
  • Responsible for aiding in RFP process.
  • Has the ability to take business needs or challenges and translate them into the right solution.
  • Owns technical/product aspects of consultations given to prospects.
  • Works with Solutions Consultant Team, Account Executives, Account Managers, Development & Marketing to address market needs and helps them understand the competitive environment.
  • Other responsibilities include time management, administrative duties, demo frameworks, proper discovery etiquette, and active listening ability.
  • Develop and maintain product expertise, proactive in learning and takes advantage of available learning resources.
  • Works independently with sales rep to craft consultation/demo with minimal oversight from leadership
  • What you need

    Bachelor’s degree preferred

    3+ years of Sales or other relevant experience. Sales Engineer experience is a plus

    Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

    Strong Critical Thinking and Problem Solving

    Exhibits a willingness to learn and apply new techniques.

    Strong planning, organizational and time management ability.

    Adaptable and flexible to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands and is able to deal with change.

    Ability to work cross-departmentally as part of the team or in a team leadership role.

    Ability to use Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Company Information Database/Wiki, team chat and online video tools.

    General understanding of web services, XML, relational databases, FTP.

    Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously.

    Ability to travel up to 30% for onsite meetings, trade shows and conferences as needed.
