Position Description

* Work closely with design engineers to develop systems and assemblies in support of custom projects and new product development

* Read, analyze, and interpret component specifications and system level diagrams

* Create electrical assemblies, schematics, PCB layouts, bills of materials, and other documentation in support of Systems Engineering

* Build prototypes or first article devices

* Support operations by providing alternate component selection for obsolete or long lead times

Minimum Qualifications

* Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering

* Five years of work experience building and troubleshooting electrical components and systems

* Experience producing manufacturing documentation packages

* Experience with printed circuit board design tools

* Competent with ERP systems and BOM generation

* Working knowledge of PLC/HMI based control systems and design
