As a Systems Engineer II on our team, we will equip you with the opportunities and resources necessary to develop your expertise in the systems engineering lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to learn from top professionals in the communications and nuclear deterrence sectors at Collins Aerospace. This role will be part of a geographically distributed team responsible for systems and cybersecurity engineering tasks associated with our next-generation network, compute, and storage technologies, guiding products from a low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) to program-of-record accreditation and into factory production.

What YOU will do:
- YOU will work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals and other internal/external stakeholders while executing model based systems engineering development activities for strategic programs.
- YOU will participate in the systems development lifecycle, developing typical systems artifacts that include trade studies, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, ICD creation, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
- YOU will participate in Agile team ceremonies, Agile sprint reviews, user story refinement and end of sprint product demos.
- Provide direct support to stakeholders by addressing technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
