Job Description$12,500 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Bonus available for eligible candidates
Sign-on Eligibility:
- Applicable experience required.
- Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible.
Relocation Eligibility:
- Must live 50 miles outside of campus address.
Unit Highlights: Operating Room, work with a great family orientated team.
Schedule: Full-Time, discuss in Interview. Will have call time need.
Assures appropriate traffic control in the operating room. Initiates the incident reporting mechanisms when indicated. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes appropriate channels of communication when initiating change, reporting information or concerns. Promotes and contributes positively to intra and interdepartmental relations. Assists with the orientation of new employees and assumes unit responsibility when delegated by the nursing manager or director. Performs specialized nursing care in all phases of the peri-operative role.
Assists with pre‐and postoperative assessment of the patient and updates preference cards as needed. Performs surgical counts per policy and prepares operating room setup. Recognizes abnormal diagnostic laboratory data, blood gas values, radiologic data, and knows the implied significance of each. Recognizes emergency situations and reacts efficiently and appropriately. Assures patients' right to privacy, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- 1+ of general nursing experience in an acute care setting. [Preferred]
- 2+ of nursing experience in the required specialty [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assist (CRNFA) [Preferred]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range: $37.39 - $69.54
