The Engineering Lead is a flexible role that supports early work winning activities (design reviews, tender preparation), PCSA activities (workshops with design teams, DRM preparation, subcontractor engagement, tender document preparation) and ongoing project delivery. The role is non‑operational; it focuses on the engineering development from tender to commissioning.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the design lead to ensure VE is applied across other packages.
- Act as a technical ambassador for the company and participate in industry events.
- Participate in tender briefings and presentations, providing technical advice and innovative solutions.
- Lead the development of technical settlements and submissions for assigned tenders.
- Review and assess the quality and completeness of tender documentation.
- Manage communication flows between engineering and operational interfaces to ensure design is complete, coordinated and buildable.
- Serve as the technical face to clients, using expertise to promote Multiplex as a solutions‑focused engineering lead.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in engineering design and understanding of project management techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with building services construction techniques.
- Computer‑literate with capability to use Navisworks, other relevant review software and BIM tools.
