AI Architect

As an AI Architect at Avanade, you will play a critical role in shaping our growing community of Agentic AI experts, defining how we design, build, and deliver agentic solutions ngside this, you will lead the solutioning, architecture, and delivery of large, complex agentic AI solutions for clients using the latest Microsoft technologies. This role combines deep hands‑on technical expertise with strong architectural leadership.

You will influence Avanade’s technical direction in agentic AI, build capability across teams, and work closely with senior client stakeholders to shape requirements, define architectures, and deliver high‑impact solutions.

• Shaping Capability and Community – Act as a technical leader within the AI & Data practice, mentoring architects and senior engineers; stay ahead of Microsoft’s AI roadmap and emerging agentic patterns, translating these into practical guidance; help shape Avanade’s Agentic AI community by establishing best practices, architectural patterns, standards, and reusable assets; contribute to thought leadership, internal enablement, and the evolution of Avanade’s agentic AI offerings.
• Client Solutioning and Architecture – Lead solution shaping activities with clients to understand requirements and define solution direction; shape and own end‑to‑end architecture for complex agentic AI solutions from concept to production; design and deliver solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry; provide hands‑on technical leadership across design, build, integration, and deployment; ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, scalability, and operational readiness.
• Leadership, Delivery, and Stakeholder Engagement – Lead delivery of large, complex AI programmes involving multiple work streams and senior stakeholders; engage confidently with senior client audiences and act as a trusted technical advisor; support pre‑sales activities including shaping propositions, contributing to proposals, and leading technical bids.

• Significant hands‑on experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Deep technical expertise in designing and implementing agentic AI architectures.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering large, complex AI solutions.
• Strong experience working directly with clients to shape requirements and manage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate across strategy, architecture, and hands‑on delivery.
• Experience working in consulting or professional services environments.

• Experience working with Azure AI Foundry or equivalent Azure‑based AI platforms.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform integration patterns.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance, security, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Experience developing architects and senior engineers.
• Microsoft certifications in AI, Azure, or Power Platform (desirable).
