Job Summary
The Division Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of assets within the division, ensuring efficiency and profitability in operations. This role focuses on managing the lifecycle of equipment, vehicles, facilities, and other assets critical to the business. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills to maximize asset utilization and ensure alignment with company goals.
This position will oversee our Prestress Division in Harrisburg, OR and Spokane, WA, as well as operations in Alaska and Hawaii.
Responsibilities- Maintain an accurate inventory of all assets within the division, including equipment, vehicles, and facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and analyze costs to identify opportunities for savings while maintaining quality.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Ensure all assets meet safety and regulatory standards, working closely with safety and compliance teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of Equipment Managers, technicians, and support staff, fostering professional growth and promoting teamwork.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers for asset procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Track equipment performance metrics, conduct inspections, and implement data-driven improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare regular reports on asset utilization, costs, performance, and other metrics for divisional leadership review.
- Work with division and regional leadership to align asset management strategies with business goals.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a management-level position within the construction materials or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, inventory systems, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to travel approximately 40% of the time is necessary.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and mentor teams.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in the construction materials industry.
