PART TIME Tourism Teacher . Commencement . Face-to-Face Teaching

Our client is looking to appoint someone for a part-time position of approximately 3 hours per week, for the next two years. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key requirements:

• A university background in Travel & Tourism (studied at the tertiary level)
• Some teaching or tutoring experience (even limited experience is fine)
• Comfortable teaching Cambridge International AS Level Travel & Tourism

Client is relatively flexible with timetabling, so can work around a suitable candidate’s availability where possible.

Remuneration:

Client can offer R450 per hour for 3 teaching hours per week, plus 1.5 hours per week at R200 per hour for preparation.

The total is R1,650 per week (R1,350 for teaching and R300 for preparation).

Cambridge experience is beneficial but not essential. We’re happy to consider all candidates, provided they have Travel & Tourism at the university level, some teaching/tutoring experience, and are willing to get up to speed with the AS-level Cambridge syllabus.
