Overview
Bank of America seeks a licensed financial advisor to provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. The role emphasizes client relationship building, financial planning, and risk management within a regulated, in‑office environment.
Job Responsibilities- Work with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan that includes brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking/money‑managed solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays. The role requires in‑office attendance in accordance with Bank of America’s workplace policy.
Required Qualifications- Currently holds Series7 and Series
66 (Series
63 or 65 may be substituted for 66 with a passing score within 60 days). - At least one year of experience in an investment or financial services environment, including training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- At least one year of experience working in a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals, build and nurture strong relationships, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently, and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Showcase learning agility, thorough regulatory due diligence, and ability to integrate client‑specific strategies.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- At least three years of experience in a financial service or sales role with proven goal achievement.
- Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
- Insurance licenses.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education.
