This is a temp to perm role with full-time hours, on-site (open to remote within a commutable distance to Champaign, IL office). The Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, providing accurate information on products, services, orders, and account status. This role will process orders, track shipments, handle returns, and coordinate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and logistics to resolve issues quickly.
The representative will document customer interactions, maintain up-to-date customer records, and follow established procedures and service standards. The position also involves identifying recurring issues, sharing customer feedback with relevant teams, and supporting continuous improvement of the customer experience.
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service, Customer Support, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Experience enhancing the Customer Experience, ideally in a Customer Service Representative capacity or similar role.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or product information in accessible terms.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., email, CRM systems, order entry tools) and accurate data entry skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and follow-through in resolving customer issues.
- Ability to work on-site in Champaign, IL, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in industrial, HVAC, or technical service industries is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
