- Design, develop, implement, enhance and support database systems to meet business goals.
- Perform database design, replication, performance monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery.
- Manage and upgrade database software, scripts, and operating environments.
- Administer multiple master replication setups using Oracle Golden Gate.
- Provide backup, restore, and replication support for production databases.
- Administer database users and security following enterprise guidelines.
- Create and maintain documentation of production policies, procedures, server configurations, error logs, maintenance records, and troubleshooting instructions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate issues affecting systems, servers, and database products as the subject‑matter expert.
- Manage moderately complex projects and direct team activities related to special initiatives or operations.
- Work independently under minimal supervision with guidance from senior consultants or managers.
- Analyze complex problems requiring in‑depth evaluation of various factors.
- Exercise judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria within broad practices and policies.
- Oracle Database Administration – 10+ years experience.
- Oracle Exadata Administration – 5 to 8 years experience.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Oracle Golden Gate – 5 to 8 years experience.
- Linux shell scripting – 5 to 8 years experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- In‑depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions.
