Seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support enterprise security operations and help maintain a strong security posture across systems, applications, and customer data. The role focuses on monitoring security alerts, vulnerability management, incident response, security tooling, and promoting cybersecurity best practices throughout the organization. This is a hybrid full-time position based in Minnesota.
Responsibilities- Analyze, monitor, and elevate security alerts from tools such as Endpoint, IDR, and MDR platforms
- Support vulnerability management processes, security posture assessments, and alerting activities
- Assist Security Engineers with maintaining and optimizing security toolsets
- Develop and implement security tooling, automations, policies, and operational processes
- Participate in incident response activities as a responder, SME, or liaison between technical and business teams
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of security standards, policies, and playbooks
- Promote and advocate cybersecurity best practices across the organization
- Help improve visibility into threats, vulnerabilities, and security events
- Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents and potential threats
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to analyze alerts and security data from multiple sources to identify threats and security events
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
- Understanding of core cybersecurity concepts including Vulnerability Management and Security Monitoring
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, PCI, NIST, MITRE
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
- Ability to quickly research and learn new technologies or technical challenges
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7/365 on‑call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in cyber security or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in a technical/IT role
- 1+ years of experience in a cybersecurity‑focused role
- Experience supporting security operations and incident response
- Exposure to security automation and process improvement
- Experience working with enterprise security tools and monitoring platforms
