SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team, ensures effective communication with associates and clients, and coordinates the care of clients and pets in a friendly, efficient manner that encourages repeat visits and referrals.

• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and guiding the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity for the veterinary team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the team through efficient hospital operations that support wellness‑plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, encouraging hospital visits, welcoming clients and pets, ensuring comfort, and educating clients about pet health and hospital services.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation, entering pet information and history into the system, using proper collars and tags for identification, and ensuring prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients by delivering instructions, providing invoices, dispensing prescription items, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and performing proper opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as needed.

Work involves long periods at a computer, confidence around various pets, and schedules that may exceed 40 hours per week including weekends and evenings. Tasks require safe handling of up to 50 pounds, good hand‑eye coordination, and adequate vision. Exposure to animals that may bite or scratch, anesthesia, radiation, and medications is possible.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 18 years old for duties involving radiography.
• One year related customer‑service experience (preferred).
• Background in veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similar, with medical terminology training (preferred).

The pay range for this role is $17.70–$22.62 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and education. The range may vary by location and applicable minimum wage laws.
