We are currently looking for a Senior Architect and Project Manager to be part of our team based in Chantilly, Virginia;
Chicago, Illinois; or Atlanta, GA.
- Utilize design expertise to create impactful presentation documents and actively participate in design presentations to clients.
- Transform design concepts into comprehensive construction documents.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate contract drawings.
- Collaborate with a project team of architects and engineers to ensure seamless progression.
- Engage independently with vendors to select specific products to integrate into the project.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and communicate with local officials to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Review contractor requests during the bidding process and manage the distribution of necessary addenda.
- Inspect construction sites during the building phase to monitor progress and compile detailed field reports.
- Be prepared for approximately 25% travel to project sites for client meetings and inspections.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience as a Project Architect with a valid U.S. Registered Architecture (RA) license.
- Strong foundation in architectural and engineering practices, emphasizing design, construction documentation, specifications, building materials, costs, and codes.
- Proven proficiency in REVIT and currently engaged in production work.
- Experience in designing multi‑story buildings is essential.
- Expertise in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to secure and maintain a Security Clearance is essential.
- Previous experience with federal government projects is highly desirable.
This full‑time position offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000. Overtime eligibility aligns with local, state, and federal regulations. The precise salary will be determined based on individual qualifications, experience, certifications, and locale, which may vary due to labor cost differences.
