Field Service Technician
Mission – Leidos Intelligence Sector seeks a fully cleared Field Service Technician to support an Intelligence Community program in Chantilly, Virginia.
Responsibilities –
- Provide Incident Response support for desktops, systems, Office, and client‑proprietary products.
- Use ITIL‑based processes to streamline receipt, triage, categorization, action, and resolution for incoming incidents, requests, and demands.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, design, and implement fixes.
- Provide basic user training in support of off‑the‑shelf applications, office products, and custom tools, as required.
- Perform remote‑desktop triage and system repair using remote tools.
- Answer questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, system status, and downtime procedures.
- Collaborate with network services, software systems engineering, and/or application development to restore service and/or identify problems.
- Utilize specialized non‑commercial systems administrator experience (access management/file transfer).
- Travel locally between customer buildings or temporarily to an alternate location for special projects.
- Maintain and update records and tracking databases.
- Apply best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
Qualifications –
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
- Experience resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone, in‑person, or via self‑service involving hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
- Ability to work client‑assigned 7 am – 4 pm shift at a client site in Chantilly, VA.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to embrace diverse technical disciplines while providing excellent customer service.
