* The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information systems, with a specific focus on application administration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. The role requires advanced knowledge of configuring systems in accordance with DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and validating STIG compliance at the enterprise level to build, deploy, maintain, and support operations utilizing tools such as Steel Cloud Config

OS for a global deployment of ~50,000 Endpoints. Responsibilities:
* STIG Configuration and Compliance proficiency.

* Configure systems in accordance with DISA STIG requirements.

* Validate and report STIG compliance across the enterprise.

* Administer and maintain applications on RHEL.

* Develop and debug shell scripts for application management.

* Achieving DISA STIGs compliance with tools such as Steel Cloud Config

OS.
* Work with Hyper-V and Azure to manage servers in virtual and cloud environments.

* Effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Must possess an active Secret security clearance

* 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).

* Proficiency in STIG application, review, troubleshooting, validation and compliance

* Steel Cloud Config

OS familiarity

* Service Now integrated workflows/automation

* Microsoft Federation Services

* Advanced Power Shell scripting or prior software development experience

* DoD PKI

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security tooling challenges

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels

* Understanding of industry compliance standards (e.g., NIST) and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is advantageous

* Willingness to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging security tools

* Required DoD 8140 compliant certification such as CompTIA Security+ Desired:
* Service Now integrated workflows/automation

* Microsoft Active Directory/Entra

* Microsoft Power

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
