Electrical Installer ; Fire Alarms

Position: Electrical Installer 3 (Fire Alarms)
Job Description
Senior-level fire alarm installer position leading installation, programming, system start-up, certification, and customer training on commercial Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. This is a foreman-level role supervising other installers on larger, more complex jobs. Position comes with a company vehicle.

What You'll Do:

• Lead installation, programming, system start-up/check-out, and certification on fire alarm and life safety projects
• Supervise other installers and deliver projects within budget and schedule with minimal guidance
• Read and work from blueprints, design drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform cable support installation including J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, and Cable Support
• Provide customer training on installed systems

Requirements

5+ years of experience installing fire alarm systems (installing conduit and pulling wire)

Previous foreman-level leadership experience

Strong understanding of blueprints, system wiring methods, and electrical/mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools

High School / GED or equivalent

Preferred:
Journeyman Electrician License, NICET I or higher in fire alarm systems, EST certification, and fire alarm programming experience
