Job DescriptionAllied Universal is currently hiring a Part‑Time Security Officer for an auto dealer in Charlestown, MA. The position is scheduled for Sunday and Monday from 11 PM to 7 AM.
Starting pay is $22.22 per hour, with paid orientation and training. A valid TWIC card is required.
As a Security Officer in Charlestown, you will safeguard clients in a variety of industries. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and support the smooth flow of people and vehicles. You will remain visible, assist with security‑related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Schedule:
Sunday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site‑specific procedures, access control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors or deliveries, and deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity calmly and document security‑related events according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to identify potential concerns and report maintenance, lighting, or access issues.
- Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and access points, provide directions when needed, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and security‑related concerns.
- Possess a valid TSA‑issued TWIC.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- Possess a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
