Full Stack Java Developer

10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for hands-on development, enhancing, and maintaining applications within the Global Financial Crimes environment. The software developer will design, code, test, and debug programs, working closely with business partners to define requirements and implement the target architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs and activities
• Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes
• Partner with multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platforms

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
• 8 – 10 years of full stack experience in Java end-to-end application development
• 4+ years of Angular experience
• Strong core Java skills including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC
• Knowledge of Java profiling tools
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Experience with software development using agile methodology and processes
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
• Experience implementing innovative tech-based solutions
• Background in enterprise stress testing
• Knowledge and/or experience working within the Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata or other big data distributed ecosystem
• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
