You will be the Analog and Power Circuit Design Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control – RF Sub Assemblies team. The team creates high‑performance digital, RF, and microwave sub‑assemblies, delivering reliable hardware that meets the toughest size, weight, power, and security requirements.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Analog and Power Circuit Design Engineer you will turn challenging concepts into trustworthy analog and power supply hardware, partnering with digital RF experts and cross‑functional groups to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior subject matter experts while learning and applying design, simulation, and test techniques for low‑noise analog RF circuits, DC‑DC converters, and LDO regulators.
- Designing and developing RF analog circuitry for high‑frequency, low‑noise applications, including low‑noise amplifiers, mixers, and filter networks.
- Creating, simulating, and optimizing high‑efficiency DC‑DC switchers and ultra‑quiet LDO power supplies to meet strict SWaP targets.
- Performing schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, prototype build, and comprehensive hardware testing.
- Developing test methods, specifications, and procedures; analyzing measurement data to verify performance against requirement baselines.
- Contributing technical inputs for product development documentation and supporting manufacturing during assembly and test phases.
- Defining and allocating functional and performance requirements for RF subsystems (LNAs, ADC/DAC chains, etc.) and associated power supply architectures.
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team environment that values diverse perspectives.
