Reports To:
Director of ICTS
Provide technical assistance district wide.
Responsibilities- Perform computer and peripheral diagnostics and repairs.
- Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, computer repair, installation, configuration, imaging, assembly of computers, monitors, and other peripherals.
- Pull/rewire cables as needed for new installations.
- Troubleshoot and make repairs as needed.
- Serve as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve equipment problems.
- Provide outstanding customer service and approach all tasks with enthusiasm to solve problems.
- Assist all users with technology-related problems and respond to requests in a quick, friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Work experience in technology or customer service field.
- Knowledge of computer hardware.
- Experience with Google applications.
- Windows, Mac, Chrome, Android, and iOS knowledge.
- Ability to repair or replace parts on most makes and models of devices, or willingness to learn device repair.
- Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud-based applications such as Office 365 and Google.
- Configure devices for staff and student use.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues and work with the network team to solve problems.
- Ability to research solutions for problems that are not easily solved.
- Ability to change ink and toner and perform small repairs to printers.
- Certification or training in Google Management highly preferred.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Escalate technology issues beyond the technician scope to the appropriate technology team member.
- Promote and develop a friendly technology environment in cooperation with end users.
- Deliver superior customer service to end users.
- Assist end users with one-to-one training and advice about technology use.
- Dependability and punctuality required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
- Be physically and emotionally capable of carrying out responsibilities and duties in a busy environment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by ICTS Service Manager or Network Administrator and the Director of ICTS.
Full-time
Salary$39,000 to $45,000 Per Year
