SII offers paid internship positions in top international hotels such as the Hilton Hotel in China. Our headquarters is in Chengdu the capital of Sichuan province. It is a lively and rapidly developing city,with some of the best opportunities for developing business experience and having an amazing time all at once.

Hospitality internships is our specialty, we have great contacts with 5 stars international hotel brands in Chengdu, and we regularly place interns in hotels all over the city as well as other locations in China.  

All the positions includes accommodation, meals and basic salary that is more than enough to support the intern during his stay .

Internship information:

Front Office department – guest relations officer

Typical Working Day:
Five working days a week, the off days will be depended on the occupancy.
Overtime will be taken as compensation leaves.

Regular Tasks Undertaken by intern:
1. Attends to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests, referees problems to manager if he/she unable to
2. Does everything possible to ensure that the guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of hotel
3. Assists Guest Relations in greeting, rooming, and sending off VIP guests. .
4. Promotes inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities.
5. Ensures VIPs and priority club guests receive special attention.

Basic Requirements from the intern:
1. Fluent spoken English.
2. Full of enthusiasm at guest relation, willing to learn and willing to dedicate.
3. Good communication skills.

Free accommodation: house use
Laundry: free for uniform
Meals: 2 meals dining restaurant, 1 meal staff canteen
2 days off a week
One day of sick leave fully paid is entitled per month ( upon hospital approval)
Chinese public holiday leave (if necessary to work on holidays the over time will be takes as compensation leave)
Enjoy birthday party, annual party and other activities
Cross training opportunity
Monthly allowance: 3000 CNY

College,   Less than 1 Year work experience
Regular Tasks Undertaken by intern:

1. Greeting customers in hotel area and service area;
2. Meeting and communicating with customers to collecting customer comments and promoting hotel products;
3. Conducting language trainings in department
4. Serving customers in hotel area and service area;
5. Handling guest inquiries and offer assistance to hotel customers
Required Language Skills:
  • English - Good
