Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Consultant with expertise in Automation Platform Testing to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing automation frameworks and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our testing processes and ensure the reliability of our automation platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various applications and platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
Provide training and support to junior team members on automation testing best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the software development lifecycle.
Proven experience in Automation Platform Testing.
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Understanding of cloud-based testing environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
