ISR system installations for our Military. The Installation Specialist will be supporting the buildup and modernization of facilities the United States. Bring your expertise and grow with a company supporting our military defense and training sites. In this role, you will:
* Be responsible for installing various equipment, machinery, and computer systems for the U.S. Navy Ships.
* Install, service, and repair major components for the ships.
* Manage fabrication and assembly of various electromechanical and electronic assemblies within the team
* Review and follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to completed and successful tasks within in deadlines.
* Effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-pace dynamic production environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
* A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability obtain and gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), undergo a background investigation and pass a drug screening.
* 10 years of experience in CIWS Installations or similar/related experience.
* 10 years direct shipboard installation experience or similar/related experience.
* 8 years as a Shipboard Installations Supervisor or similar/related experience.
* Ability to work any shift/designated hours required.
* Ability to work in high heat spaces and climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders.
* Proficient computer skills in MS Office products to use and create spreadsheets, reports, etc.
* The ability to travel 25% as needed. Additional desired skills and experience:
* 6 years of experience serving in the U.S. Navy.
* An active or current DoD Secret Clearance.
