A well-established OB/GYN practice in Cheshire, CT is seeking a highly dependable Nurse Manager / Lead Nurse to oversee daily clinical operations and serve as a key support to both providers and patients.

This is a great opportunity for an RN or LPN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, takes ownership of their work, and brings strong critical thinking to every situation.

What You Will Do

* Serve as the primary clinical support for OB/GYN providers

* Perform patient triage, assess symptoms, and determine appropriate next steps

* Manage insurance authorizations, referrals, and clinical documentation

* Coordinate patient care and ensure timely follow-up

* Support daily clinical workflows and problem-solve operational issues

* Maintain accurate, compliant patient records

* Act as a reliable resource for both patients and internal staff

* Contribute to a positive, respectful, and patient-centered environment

What You Bring

Required:

* Active Connecticut RN or LPN license

* 4-5 years of RN experience (or comparable LPN experience)

* Prior experience in a clinical practice setting

* OB/GYN or specialty experience strongly preferred

* Ability to manage high patient volume and time-sensitive tasks

* Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills

* High level of professionalism, reliability, and independence

Preferred:

* BSN

* Additional specialty experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheshire, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
