Covenant Building & Design, a Chesterfield-Based Custom Home Building Company, is seeking a Stand Out Full Time Construction Manager. We are a Family-Oriented Company experiencing rapid growth and looking for the right person to join our Team. The right candidate will definitely be someone with direct experience in managing all functions of the job site as it relates to Home Construction.   • Responsible for Managing the Construction and Presentation of the Homes in a Timely Manner
  • Collaborate with Trade Partners, Government Agencies and the Customer
  • Establish and Maintain Daily Contact with County Officials and Inspectors
  • Schedule all Contractors On-Site as well as Off-Site for each Phase of Construction
  • Complete each Home on Schedule from Permit through Occupancy, ensuring all Contract Obligations are Satisfied
  • Confirm all Approved Plans to verify Home is Built per Plans and Specifications
  • Ensure that the Options and Upgrades are implemented during Construction and for Homeowner Walk-Through
  • Maintain a Safe Work Site by implementing Good Housekeeping Regulations and Safety Requirements, enforcing Safe Work Habits and Observing OSHA and any State-Level Agencies' Regulations
  • Be aware of Applicable Building Codes and OSHA Requirements
  • Have a thorough understanding of (or be willing to learn) Co-Construct Software to be able to Update Schedules, Communicate with Office and Customers, as well as Execute the Plans and Options accurately
  • Deliver the Highest Quality Work and Homeowner Satisfaction through Effective Management of Resources and the Construction Process
  • Manage Cleanliness and Hold the Trade Partners Responsible for Daily Clean Up
  • Conduct Detailed Inspections after each Trade has Completed their Tasks and before any Work is authorized for Payment to ensure Quality and Completion
  • Verify that County Final is Complete and Passed by the County Inspector
  • Walk each Completed Home before the Homeowner Walk-Through to make sure it is Complete, Clean and meets CBD Standards
  • Homeowner Orientation/Walk-Through


  • May Directly Supervise One Employee and a Various Number of Trade Partners in the Field
  • Be Prepared to Manage Multiple Jobs/Communities


  • Minimum of 5 years REQUIRED
  • Must have Proven and Verifiable Record of Past Successes as a Residential Construction Manager
