Job Description
Parsons is looking for talented Electricians and Electrical Technicians for Air Traffic Systems to join our team! In this role you will perform installation of communications systems and automation systems at FAA facilities across the United States National Air Space (NAS).
T5 Program
Summary:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA Next Gen Program, national security programs, and aviation safety.
Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories.
An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.
This position works as part of a construction and installation crew installing new or upgrading existing equipment and systems such as communications systems and automation systems.
The Electrician completes projects on airports and at remote facilities in various environments establishing new or upgrading existing systems.
Work will involve electrical systems installation, civil construction tasks, and electrical equipment installation tasks.
Must be a US Citizen
100% travel is required throughout the United States, its territories and possessions, and anywhere federally owned and operated air traffic equipment is operated.
Must pass government background check to qualify.
Must be able to pass fleet driver motor vehicle history check as well as DOT physical requirements.
Prior experience with above and below ground electrical installations, duct banks, manholes, steel racks, towers and poles, surveying, concrete work, excavation equipment operations, and airfield systems.
Familiar with construction quality and safety best practices.
Able to read, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, and client orders and standards.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience required.
OSHA 30 training preferred.
Terrific customer service skills – a history of working directly with customers and site owners
Electrician license
Computer skills – experience working with Microsoft Office for daily and weekly reporting
Should have experience with the use of electrical and electronics test equipment.

Salary Range: $15.68 - $71.30
