ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision, performs basic compilation and analysis of site data and assists with the application of site data to further the preferred project approach. Conducts field site investigations, soil, water, air sampling, wetland delineation, wildlife/habitat surveys, and similar site investigations and documentation of results. Under direct supervision, assists with the preparation of environmental studies (e.g., NEPA documents, field reports, feasibility studies) of basic complexity.
Collaborates with scientists, engineers, and construction staff to implement the approved approach. Provides advice and expertise on the selected project approach. Contributes to the firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation, and submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals. Performs other duties as required, and may create or work with a team to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference.
Bachelor's degree in science or related discipline. Three years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills and AbilitiesIntermediate knowledge of standard field protocols for the discipline. Intermediate knowledge of scientific methods and processes. Expert knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Intermediate knowledge of regulations governing environmental review and project implementation.

Benefits & CompensationPay Range Minimum: $66,872. Pay Range Maximum: $110,323. All bonuses are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position. Work Location Options:
