Job Description
The Line Supervisor I will work in a high‑performing and fast‑paced pharmaceutical finishing operation to meet our production requirements while maintaining the utmost focus on safety and quality. He or she will support setup, changeover, packaging, equipment, and troubleshooting on packaging lines, and will lead and work with peers daily on a finishing line to create a safety and quality‑focused environment.
Responsibilities- Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety and Quality procedures while fostering a proactive compliance culture.
- Supervise daily operations of a single packaging line.
- Work as a team member on the assigned line to maximize performance.
- Actively manage line execution of tasks per procedure and defined processes for maximum efficiency, including blowing, clearing, set‑up, and production.
- Troubleshoot in‑process problems and remediate routine operational and system issues.
- Accurately document and review batch records to ensure Right‑First‑Time execution.
- Initiate continuous process improvement suggestions and changes through innovative ideas.
- Maintain 5S practices on packaging lines within the finishing department.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of cGMP or related manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP requirements in a regulated industry.
- Goal‑oriented, able to lead within a team environment, self‑motivated with a sense of urgency to meet business needs, and able to influence team without direct authority.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Computer skills and ability to learn new programs and applications required.
- Experience with production systems such as ERP, MES, or similar is preferred.
- Stand up to 8‑12 hours per day and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Work 40‑48 hours per week and may work up to 60 hours depending on manufacturing demands.
- Competitive base pay range based on job grade, with potential adjustments.
