Resident Services Coordinator: Property Management Company seeking Coordinators
Resident Services Coordinator:   Identifies the community service needs of residents and facilitates/implements programs designed to help address the needs.  Collects and records data to measure program outcomes.  Develops strategies to link residents with services and builds community partnerships to help bring services to the community.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists and advises residents and families of services that may be necessary to maintain a self-reliant lifestyle and promote wellness.  Educates residents, families, and staff on available community resources such as personal assistance, homemaker services, meals-on-wheels, transportation services, counseling, preventive health screening/wellness, legal advocacy, etc.

Assists residents in building informal support networks among themselves and with family members and friends.  Acts as a liaison between community agencies, service providers, and residents and manages volunteers.  Works collaboratively with property management staff in serving residents and encourages residents to be proactive in meeting their social, psychological, and physical needs.

Collects and records required data for designated program components and evaluates program outcomes and services delivered on a regular basis.  Develops and maintains a comprehensive list of resources (employment, education, social service agencies, etc.) available for residents in the community.

Establishes and maintains partnerships with relevant organizations and individuals, with an emphasis on providing on-site services to residents in the community.  Attends all required trainings to ensure individual and professional growth and maintains any licenses and/or certifications required for the job duties.
Position Requirements
Bachelor, 1 to 2 Years work experience
QUALIFICATIONS

A college degree in social work, psychology, or counseling is preferred.  Work experience may substitute for educational requirement.  Two to three years in social service delivery with seniors, nonelderly disabled, and/or families.  Demonstrated knowledge of supportive services and demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and provide results for the residents served.
