  • Compensation: USD 60,000 - USD 81,000 - yearly
Responsibilities
  • Perform standard scientific work requiring application of techniques and procedures.
  • Detect problems using standardized procedures due to sample conditions, equipment difficulties, etc.
  • Conduct specific phases of projects under guidance of more experienced scientists.
  • Propose appropriate analytical methods and techniques; assist in providing advice and consulting services within scope of scientific knowledge.
  • Draw conclusions and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Be flexible with extended hours and locations; travel may exceed 50% of time.
  • Be able to perform day‑to‑day regional travel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, engineering or related fields; plus two (2+) years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Subject to pre‑employment background check.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required; sponsorship not available.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in challenging conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable liaising with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks.
  • Scientific research and report writing, including web‑based research.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong quality and time management.
  • Self‑starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative.
  • Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
  • Seeking professional certifications.
  • 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GIS applications.
