JOB DESCRIPTION

Drivers are responsible for packing donuts for wholesale deliveries, and delivering and collecting a variety of products and supplies between a variety of locations in a safe, professional, efficient and timely manner.

Essential Functions

* Accurately pack and drive personal automobile to load, unload, deliver and collect a variety of products and supplies between a variety of locations in a safe, professional, efficient and timely manner

* Provide and safely maintain personal automobile (including performing a vehicle inspection before and after each trip) and proof of insurance coverage indicating no less than state-mandated limits and in employee's name; insurance coverage must not exclude business purposes

* Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations and best practices for safety, both on and off the road

* Immediately report any personal or motor vehicle accidents, injuries or parking/moving violations to supervisors

* Professionally and courteously interact with customers to confirm delivery details, address complaints and resolve disputes, including obtaining customer signatures as instructed

* Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes, follow assigned routes and maintain schedule

* Maintain accurate mileage and other delivery logs and records

* Review and verify invoices, purchase requests and other instructions before and after delivery to ensure accurate deliveries and collections

* Work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends

* Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment

* Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction

* Multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment

* Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels

* Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds

* Sit, stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of company and delivery/collection locations, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces

Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests' needs

* Use tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy

* Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions

* Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures

* Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook

* Get along well with others and be a team player

* Other duties will be assigned as needed
