Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized Loan Processor. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of loan documents and plays a critical role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.

Essential Functions
  • Request and track orders of appraisals, title work, flood, and other reports on real estate loans
  • Review loan documentation requests for accuracy and completion
  • Prepare loan documents based on officer’s request and verify they are in accordance to loan policy
  • Balance and prepare settlement statements with title companies for real estate transactions
  • Communicate loan document information with lenders, loan assistants, and credit administration
  • Assist in reviewing supporting documents such as title work to ensure that exceptions are cleared prior to loan closing
  • Ensure each loan has the required loan documents and supporting documents based on loan type to reduce the possibility of loss
  • Prepare loan documentation including new loan documents, denials, extensions, and deferrals, ensuring all documents are completed on schedule
  • Schedule loan closings and ensure they are within reasonable expectations that deadlines can be achieved without unnecessary delays
  • Order post-closing documents in a manner that ensures asset quality is protected
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 2 years banking experience preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Word and Excel proficiency
Other Requirements
  • Must reside in Oklahoma and pass a background and credit check
  • This is an in-office position, and it is critical to remain available to team members during business hours
  • May have intermittent local travel to other locations for meetings, training opportunities and bank events
