Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our rapidly growing team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming a permanent role, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic multi-phase construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial operations and a strong understanding of job costing, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee job costing processes, including forecasting and cash flow analysis.

- Handle financial operations for complex multi-phase construction projects.

- Coordinate multi-entity accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, while resolving discrepancies.

- Set up and maintain vendor accounts to ensure seamless operations.

- Process internal company invoicing with precision and timeliness.

- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed.

- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely completion.

- Review weekly payroll and process daily receipts accurately.

- Utilize Computer Ease software to manage accounting functions effectively. Requirements - Proven experience in month-end closing procedures.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

- Proficiency in account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

- Demonstrated expertise in job costing and WIP (Work In Progress) processes.

- Familiarity with financial systems, particularly Computer Ease, is preferred.

- Ability to handle complex multi-phase construction accounting.

- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
