IT Systems Administrator III

This position focused on platform engineering to support new infrastructure and capacity for infrastructure projects, oversight, and proactive monitoring and maintenance. This person will provide operational ownership and support for enterprise infrastructure platforms, with a strong emphasis on Linux, Kubernetes, and Azure-hosted production environments.

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, Azure-hosted, and hybrid environments, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security components.
• Operate and maintain production Kubernetes clusters and underlying Linux-based systems supporting containerized workloads, monitoring platform health, performance, capacity, and cost efficiencies.
• Troubleshoot complex, cross-layer issues involving containers, nodes, networking, storage, identity, and security integrations, providing Tier III escalation support.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts, ensuring platforms are operated in alignment with regulatory and compliance expectations
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams
• Support infrastructure-as-code practices, automation, and operational tooling where applicable

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of systems administration or infrastructure experience
• Microsoft Azure experience – compute, network, identity, storage, and security admin.
• Experience administering Linux-based systems at enterprise scale.
• Experience supporting security, compliance, and audit-requirements in a regulated industry.
