The Jr. Software License Manager supports the tracking, compliance, and optimization of software licenses and technology assets across the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity organization. This role helps maintain accurate software inventories, assists with audits, monitors license usage, and works with IT, procurement, and finance teams to support cost-effective and compliant software management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain records of software licenses, subscriptions, and entitlements
  • Track software installations and usage across systems
  • Assist with internal and external software compliance audits
  • Help reconcile software purchases, contracts, and deployment data
  • Support renewal tracking and license true-up activities
  • Generate reports on software usage, compliance position, and optimization opportunities
  • Work with IT, sourcing, and vendors to resolve licensing discrepancies
  • Help document SAM processes, standards, and inventory procedures
  • Support continuous improvement of asset tracking and governance practices
Basic Qualifications
  • Proficient with infrastructure and cybersecurity software categories and an understanding of how these tools are deployed, licensed, and managed in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of software licensing metrics, IT assets, or procurement processes
  • Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and follow defined processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-year experience of IT asset management, procurement, or software operations
  • Familiarity with SAM/ITAM tools such as Service Now, or similar platforms
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and analysis
  • Understanding of contracts, renewals, and vendor management
  • Experience with data cleanup, reconciliation, or audit support
