4/10, Monday-Thursday 2nd shift

Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Interprets technical specifications and follows methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing on assembly units. Performs setups and adjustments ensuring tolerances meet blueprint specifications.

• Read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instructions.
• Handle small parts with tweezers or special tools.
• Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakes, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training.
• Visually inspect components and subassemblies for defects before, during, and after assembly.
• Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs.
• Maintain assembly/quality records paperwork as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years of post‑secondary education, or Associate’s Degree with 0–2 years of prior related experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Must be a United States citizen (based on site requirements).
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time up to 10 hours a day.

• J-STD-001 experience.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Experience using magnification instruments.
