Tool Assembly Technician

Location:

Milford/Mariemont

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $17/hr

Assembling tools, sub-assemblies, kits and ensuring that all parts and components are assembled correctly and on time.

• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Under the supervisor's direction, assemble tools, sub-assemblies, and kits according to the standardized worksheets.
• Testing, troubleshooting, and reporting potential problems of product.
• Communicate trends or repeated quality issues.
• Prepare and complete source documents for labor and inventory transactions.
• Follow step-by-step instructions to complete department tasks promptly.
• Complete any other job responsibilities.
• Have flexibility to work in all Tool Department areas.

• Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, product managers, engineers, and quality technicians.
• Use of lift and hand trucks; training provided if needed.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent.

• Must be able to stand for 100%, lift 75%, and bend 50% of your entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain daily production quota.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and presses daily.
• Must be able to use both hands to maneuver and assemble small parts and tools.
• Must have at least one year of experience in an assembly line environment.
• Must have at least one year of mechanical experience.
• Must be able to follow standardized worksheets.
• Must be able to stay on task with minimum supervision.
• Depending on the company's needs, you must be able to work overtime and weekends when asked.
• Requires a high degree of mental concentration & attention to detail.
