* The Team Lead - Extrusion is a crucial role responsible for leading and optimizing extrusion operations. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of extrusion processes, materials, and equipment. The Team Lead will be expected to supervise a team, drive production efficiency, and ensure adherence to quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Lead and supervise the extrusion team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.

+ Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and efficiency.

+ Troubleshoot extrusion process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

+ Oversee the scheduling of production runs, coordinating with other departments to meet customer demands.

+ Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a safe working environment.

+ Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring product specifications are met.

+ Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

+ Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications for data analysis and reporting.

+ Participate in and contribute to process improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing principles.

+ Effectively communicate with team members, management, and other departments regarding production status and issues.

* Minimum Qualifications:

* + Thorough knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment.

+ General knowledge of production management principles.

+ Working knowledge of quality control procedures.

+ Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervision of a team.

+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

+ Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
