Registered Nurse - CVOR - Pediatric

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Pediatric CVOR RN to join Cincinnati Children's Cardiothoracic Surgery team. The qualified candidate will provide specialized perioperative care for complex congenital heart disease patients from birth through adulthood.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and effective communication.
• Assist during cardiopulmonary bypass procedures, supporting surgical teams.
• Facilitate surgical time-outs and maintain surgical equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to scheduling and time-off guidelines, including RTO and on-call shifts.
• Maintain compliance with vaccination and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, with pediatric clinical background.
• Demonstrate experience with cardiothoracic surgery, scrubbing in procedures preferred.
• Possess valid state licensure (Ohio or Multi-State License required).
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 without exemptions.
• Provide recent supervisor references within past 2 years and any relevant certifications (e.g., ANCC).
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
