Job Description

School Bus Driver for Winton Woods City Schools, located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

• A valid Ohio driver’s license
• A valid Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements or paid training will be provided
• Safe driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and administration
• Excellent attendance record
• A love of children of all ages
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

• Transport authorized students to and from school
• Transport authorized students to and from extra‑curricular activities as necessary
• Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses
• Obey all traffic laws
• Maintain discipline when students are on the bus
• Inspect bus before each operation for mechanical defects
• Report student misconduct to the proper authority
• Keep assigned bus clean and report any mechanical problems to the transportation supervisor
• Maintain an assigned schedule
• Picks up and discharges students only at authorized stops
• Report all accidents and complete required reports in a timely fashion
• Post and enforce bus regulations such as playing and eating bans
