Job DescriptionCTL Aerospace is a full-service FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station providing services to the aerospace industry since 1946. The CTL Repair Division specializes in the overhaul and repair of aircraft metal and composite components.
We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as an Aviation On-Wing Travel Repair Technician at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
Job Requirements- Perform maintenance on aircraft around the world to the highest quality standards.
- Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance procedures.
- Perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.
- Build customer relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
- Take ownership for and follow through on full scope of work tasks and projects.
- Read and interpret repair procedures.
- Understand basic dimensioning and tolerances.
- Translate repair instructions into action.
- Ability to multi-task and cross-train in different areas.
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety precautions in the shop environment.
- A professional attitude and appearance are mandatory as you will be interacting with owners/operators of the aircraft and engines.
- Demonstrate quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction skills.
- Strong communication skills and problem‑solving ability are a must.
- Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international air locations as required.
- US Passport required.
- Updated vaccinations are required depending on the country visited.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. May be required to drive in other countries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Federal Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) license a plus.
- Aircraft composite or sheet metal experience.
- Mandatory FAA drug and alcohol screening.
- Must be driven/self‑sufficient/eager to learn and mechanically inclined.
- Able to work in a repair environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to cross‑train and work overtime as business needs require.
This position requires you to undergo a DOT/FAA pre‑employment drug test for the following prohibited drugs prior to being hired or transferred into a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). position as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1]:
- Phencyclidine (PCP).
- Amphetamines.
A safety‑sensitive function, as described in 14 CFR part 120, §§ 120.105 and 120.215, includes a flight crew member, flight attendant, flight instructor, aircraft dispatcher, aircraft maintenance or preventive maintenance, ground security coordinator, aviation screener, air traffic controller, and operations control specialist.
