• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of acutely ill or injured patients
• Administer medications, start IV therapy, manage lines, and assist with procedures as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs and telemetry, and respond promptly to decompensation or deteriorating condition
• Document assessments, treatments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record; communicate with the care team to update plans
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, technicians, and case management to coordinate care, disposition planning, and patient education
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy guidelines; participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives

• Active California Registered Nurse license in good standing
• ER or high-acuity nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and adapt to variable patient needs and hospital processes
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
