School Speech Language Pathologist

A K-12 educational setting in Clearwater, FL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position throughout the current school year. This role focuses on supporting students with speech and language disorders by delivering targeted, evidence-based therapy and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs
• Provide therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills aligned with educational goals
• Closely monitor student progress, maintaining thorough documentation to inform treatment adjustments
• Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure integrated support
• Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy and progress process

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology for Florida
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
• Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
