This position reports to:
Team LeaderIn this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers’ technical requests, engage with colleagues to resolve technical issues, and showcase your expertise by managing service‑contract deliverables, on‑time delivery, customer requirements, and financial KPIs, while tracking performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders.
The work model for this role is hybrid.
This role contributes to the Energy Industries NAM Hub in the United States.
Responsibilities- Support the customer proactively by anticipating needs and leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts.
- Ensure that the plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and lifecycle reports supported by technology segment experts.
- Measure, report, and present the value of services delivered to key customer stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers.
- Identify service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and grow service contracts with assigned customers.
The Role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience working with control systems in a technical capacity. (Preferred: System Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Technical Support, R&D Engineer or similar)
- Immersion in Service Delivery and Process Automation Energy Industries markets.
- Enhanced knowledge of control‑system technologies, including consoles, hardware, control logic design, and networking. (Preferred: Expertise in System 800xA, Symphony Plus, and ABB Heritage products.)
- Passion for delivering world‑class service and technical support.
- Comfortable communicating both technical and commercial status to site personnel.
