Heavy Civil Estimator - Transportation & Municipal Projects

A well-established heavy civil contractor in Ohio is seeking an experienced Estimator to support continued growth across transportation and municipal infrastructure projects throughout OH, PA, WV, and IN.

• Diverse heavy civil projects across transportation, roadway, utility, and municipal markets

• Prepare estimates and bid packages for heavy civil construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop accurate project cost estimates and bid proposals
• Coordinate with operations and project management teams during preconstruction
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering efforts

• Experience as an Estimator within heavy civil construction
• Background in transportation, roadway, bridge, utility, or municipal projects
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost analysis
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
